Greetings friends who are lovers of architecture, it is a pleasure to share with you a new architectural design of the Bolívar State, specifically the city of Puerto Ordaz, it is the Plaza el Hierro located between Llovizna Street and Cachamay Street, this plaza as its The name indicates it pays tribute to one of the minerals of the State (iron) whose most important mines are located on Cerro Bolívar, very close to the city of Piar, in the Guayana region.

The square is located in the heart of the city and has large spaces for family recreation. Upon entering the square, you can read the identification on a green fence, then several paths and garbage baskets located in various areas of the city. square, also has several circular and rectangular planters, the first are demarcated with gray bricks that have a triangular shape, in the square there are several paths through which you can move to go to different points, the objective of using them is Do not step on the grass and vegetation while you move, along the paths there are also notices and fences that tell us that the square is a space of peace, fun, 100% family, a young space among other writings, which indicate the different uses that the square has, something very important in this place is that it has a fence at the entrance with the rules for its use, among them are detailed; Do not throw garbage on the floor, take care of the spaces and be respectful, very close to the square there is also a stop, which consists of a box of rebars painted yellow, blue and red, with its respective roof and concrete benches where you comfortably wait for transportation and protect yourself from the rain and sun.

Advancing through the walkways of the square you can see that the floor is made of concrete and has different colors like; yellow, brick, light red, among others, which give a very nice style to the square, also has several square planters which in turn serve as a bench, are made of concrete and have several plants of green, red and in the center of them a palm tree, also are located along these walkways different poles decorated with Christmas motifs and a building under construction that is located next to the square and in the background a building that apparently corresponds to a residential complex is appreciated, the floor in this walkway has a combination of concrete and caico, we continue walking and we find a circular poster that says that it is a space to enjoy, we also see here the combination of colors in the floor, yellow and brick color that makes a beautiful contrast with the green grass, the posts and lamps, the posts are black and are distributed throughout the square to illuminate the different spaces of it, since the terrain is quite wide.

In addition to the poles and palm trees, the space has several large trees that refresh the place, our visit was in daylight hours and the sun was quite intense, I must say that despite the time there were spaces that due to the presence of the trees were shaded and were perfect for resting, in a more complete view of the gardens you can see the walkways, square planters, palm plants and black poles and triangular shape at the top where the lamps with LED lights are located.

One of the spaces that I liked the most in this square was the path covered with umbrellas, it has two spaces covered with umbrellas, they are concrete walkways surrounded by vegetation, lamps around and at the top a roof formed by umbrellas of beautiful and varied colors, On the other walkway covered with umbrellas is located an information booth and a playground for children covered by a sky of colorful umbrellas, on the right side of the square we see the beautiful gardens with pruned plants and a gray building with panoramic windows that is under construction, according to information from one of the residents, the building is intended for a new commercial establishment; As in the redoma las piñas also located in Puerto Ordaz, the square has an office of the mayor's office which is responsible for providing security and assistance to visitors to the square, regularly security personnel and police are in these spaces created for the enjoyment of the family, which have been specially decorated for recreation and make nice pictures as a souvenir of your visit to the square.

In the center of the square and one of the most important elements that correspond to its name is a monument to iron, it is several rocks made of concrete and painted gray, which simulate the rock where the iron ore is found. , it rests on a square granite base with red and gray colors, there is also very close to this monument a fountain with a silver star, a plaque that reads the year of foundation of the square, this is located in a rectangle of concrete, on the edges there are ornamental plants reddish in color, the background is yellow and around the central star there are several small stars. Since my visit was during Christmas time, you can see the decorations of this time, including a large tree with a golden star at the top. The base is red and the body of the tree is blue and black. I imagine that at night the colors are totally different, since the lights that decorate this great tree are turned on.

It is an ideal space to take beautiful pictures of the visit to the square, it also has a large tunnel that unfolds along one of the walkways this is made of iron rods, fully lined with lights, in the daytime the lights are white, the square is an excellent place to rest while you run errands in the center or simply to share some time with family and friends, during my visit, As usual I was accompanied by my son, after walking and observing the different decorations of the square we sat down to rest a little taking advantage of the shade provided by the trees, I particularly liked the color of the walkways in different shades of colors as they create a beautiful contrast with the grass and trees that abound in this square, the tour was enjoyable and fun watching carefully each space of the square.
