Hello hive friends, especially hive friends in this A+D community! It's been three months since I last posted on hive. Some people must have noticed that I haven't shared a post for a long time. Before I start discussing architecture and design, I want to tell you a little about me who has been inactive for the past three months. For two months I have been to the hospital many times, because I have had several illnesses ranging from pinched nerves, stomach ulcers, to being diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. Three weeks ago I just underwent surgery to remove an ovarian cyst, and for the past three weeks I have been focusing on recovery. I hope you don't miss me too much, Lol. Okay, this time I will discuss the interior design of the 88- Fatmawati hotel.
A month ago before the cyst removal surgery, my husband and I took the time to stay at a hotel, consider it a mini honeymoon because we haven't had the chance to go on a honeymoon. We stayed at a hotel near where we live. The name of the hotel is Hotel 88 - Fatmawati because this hotel is located next to Jalan Raya Fatmawati. Access to this hotel is very easy to reach because it is close to the highway. Below is a picture of Hotel 88 - Fatmawati that I took from the front of the building. What is your first impression when you see the two pictures below?
When you first enter the hotel lobby, on the left is the receptionist. The receptionist desk is placed at the end near the wall, then next to the desk is a refrigerator for drinks and a shelf for snacks. Behind the receptionist desk, I mean the wall, is designed with an interesting pattern like a painting but apparently not. Then in front of the desk, actually a little distance from the receptionist desk, a sofa is placed to wait. Then, to the right of the hotel lobby is the restaurant. The restaurant area is actually a bit less spacious and the distance between the tables is too close. Almost all the interior is made of wood. There are even some food carts like those used to sell on the side of the road placed there. This is rather interesting because I think it adds to the aesthetics of the area. They also put a coffee machine on one side. Still in the lobby area, at the end near the elevator. From the lobby door, just go straight. The elevator is located on the right, then on the left there are stairs. Then under the stairs is designed with an artificial garden. Although small, this place can also be used as an interesting photo spot.
We move upstairs to where I'll be staying. I got a room on the sixth floor. For this floor, the corridor looks like the photo below. There is a staircase in the center. There was also a drinking water dispenser for us to fill the teapot in the room. There's not much I can explain about this area.

Upon entering the bedroom area, like most hotels, on the left is a wardrobe and shoe rack then on the right is the bathroom. The bathroom is a bit narrow in my opinion, but the facilities are quite adequate. There was a large mirror in front of the bathroom, a mirror with a welcome sign. When I arrived I immediately took a selfie there, hahaha.

The room size is also rather small, with only a queen-sized bed and a desk chair at the end by the window. There is a small table next to the bed. There is also a television attached to the wall. The window could be opened because I chose a smoking room, my husband is a smoker by the way.
What do you think of this hotel? Do you think the hotel is interesting? I think it's average, but it's a good place to stay with your partner when you don't have time to go far like me and my husband. Thanks for reading my blog! See you next post!

Wow! I liked the rust color of the hotel's lobby Ma'am @devyswan1 and the retro style of the tables and chairs in the dining area 😊
I also like the retro style of the tables. Thank you for stopping by!
nice to see you back in the community. the hotel looks very simple but neat and clean. Recommended if one day I want to 'escape' from home. LOL
Healthy always, @devyswan1
Yes, try it once! The price is also pocket-friendly, hahaha
I love the hotel interior's clean lines and modern vibes, most especially the interplay of wooden accents against light-colored panels, giving it an organic feel. Welcome back @devyswan1 and have a speedy recovery. Take it easy. ☺️
Thank you @storiesoferne for welcoming me back!
Amazing hotel interior details @devyswan1. I'm particularly attracted to the wooden elements of the spaces due to their natural feel. They have a welcoming effect. ☺️
Thanks @archmoments! I also love the wooden elements in this hotel.
Dear @devyswan1. Please edit/change this Indonesian phrase to English in the last paragraph of your post. Thank you.
