Every time I pass by Las Delicias avenue in the city of Maracay, a little ahead of the Polideportivo, I can see between some big trees the Europa business center, it lies there quite discreetly, few use it as a reference point and I would even say that few have in mind the location of this place that although it goes unnoticed among citizens, has a couple of interesting things that I would like to share with you, also, in the past I attended a few times to this building, so I have a little story to tell about it.
As its name suggests, this is a business center, so it is intended to house offices for different companies and consortiums that do not have their own headquarters or some branches, and well, based on that it certainly lacks attraction for entertainment, in fact, I think there is not even a cafeteria there. This building is located on Las Delicias avenue at the height of José María Vargas avenue, which leads directly to the central hospital of Maracay. As you will see in the following photos, it is a 4-story structure that while it is true it is not the most striking, it has its architectural charm.
The structure is gray and with large windows on the last two floors, these are the ones that provide the business or office essence of the building. In the highest part of the business center and in the center of the building, you can see the name in large black letters, these undoubtedly reveal that this is the place you are looking for. As I said before, in the visual from the avenue there are large trees that cover at least half of the business center, this also generates shade on the outside which is an advantage for parking and for those waiting for the bus on the side of the avenue.
The back of the building is very similar to the front, but the entrance is different, it is narrower and is crowned with a kind of cylinder that is covered with red ceramic. In this area of the structure there is also a sign with the name of the building and there are also many trees that obstruct the full view of the Europa business center. By the way, the access from the rear is through Los Clubes street.
One of the things I liked the most about this structure was the roof in the central internal part, through it a lot of natural light enters and also generates a good visual sensation. The roof has a hexagon shape and the windows through which the light enters are square, I think this brings harmony to the building. We can see that in the central part there are at least 4 elevators for workers and visitors.
On the other hand, the internal corridors of the business center are quite simple, but this is understandable since they are not required to have an extravagant style considering that they are intended to be offices and headquarters of small and medium-sized companies. I was struck by the poor lighting in the corridors, but I suppose this is because most of the establishments are unoccupied, I remember that in another era there was more activity.
And well, the story I had with this site is that many years ago, thanks to my husband's health insurance, I attended several times to trauma consultations (problems with my knee) in a clinic that no longer operates there, until then I did not know the existence of this interesting place. It was a pleasure to share once again with the community, I send you a big hug.
