Architects need a large table because they need drawing space too. Also, some having shelves are important but not mandatory but I feel drawers are mandatory.
It is true! How many times did I have to look around the house for the scale rule and the tape measure and the pencil that seems to disappear whenever you need them. Yes, drawers are mandatory.
I had to buy several triangular scales because every time when I need them, I don't find them, even pencils and rubber as well. I guess when we do work, we don't focus on arranging things because we work with several tools when we do conceptual work. Yes, right now we do many digital works but still, I need a pencil to draw over cad print :P ...
