Terepaima II Shopping Center-Cabudare-Venezuela [ENG]/[ESP].
Greetings to all the @architecture+designs community, I hope you enjoyed a spectacular day.
Today I want to share with you images of the facilities of a small but attractive shopping center called “Centro comercial Terepaima II” located in the city of Cabudare, Lara state in Venezuela.
I went to this mall, in recent days, with my daughter @mjpacheco to accompany her to her monthly control of her orthodontics in a dental office that works there on the second level and I really liked the design in metal structure that has the whole mall.
My daughter has been going to this dental office for quite some time now because she got a very professional dentist, interested not only in money but also in the patient's well being, something that the previous one she initially went to did not have and that is why she changed without hesitation.
That is why it is so important to look for recommended professionals to take care of our oral health and not to be guided only because they charge cheaply but because of their professionalism.
It is a building that, despite being located in the center of the city of Cabudare, is not very busy, probably due to the economic situation of the country, which makes some stores are unoccupied because their rents are quite expensive.
There are several banks, bookstores, a pizzeria, hairdressers, medical offices, clothing stores, shoe stores, cosmetics, jewelry stores, household items, among others.
I also noticed that there is a gym that operates in the afternoons.
The building is constructed entirely of metal structure, with slender metal columns of circular section and a roof and decorative curved white polycarbonate, supported by metal trusses or trusses designed with circular and square tubes of various sizes and gauges.
At first I thought that visually, the design of the whole set seemed very overloaded by the amount of tubes and armor, but when I looked at the central dome-shaped roof where the straps reach that give it a giant spider web appearance, I changed my mind because it fits perfectly with the rest of the design.
The entire structure is painted with gray tones and ivory facades, which contrasts with the floor built with black granite and unpolished granite edges. All the doors and windows are made of black tempered glass that give a touch of elegance to the facade.
The stairs leading to the second level are also metallic with steps covered with unpolished granite stone and equipped with curved handrails. It has a large parking lot decorated with some planters where ornamental flowering plants are observed.
On the facades there is a kind of curved awnings that protect the premises from sunlight and rain, coated with green asphalt shingles that gives another tone to the facades.
This mall is frequented by people who are in the center of Cabudare or who come from the municipality's mayor's office, which is two blocks away, to pay their municipal taxes in the banks.

Hoy le quiero compartir imágenes de las instalaciones de un pequeño pero atractivo centro comercial llamado " Centro comercial Terepaima II" ubicado en la ciudad de Cabudare, estado Lara en Venezuela.
Asistí a este centro comercial, en días pasados, junto a mi hija @mjpacheco para acompañarla a su control mensual de su ortodoncia en un consultorio odontológico que allí funciona en el segundo nivel y de verdad que me gustó el diseño en estructura metálica que tiene todo el centro comercial.
Mi hija ya tiene bastante tiempo asistiendo a este consultorio odontológico porque consiguió una odontóloga muy profesional, interesada no solo en el dinero sino también en el bienestar del paciente, cosa que no tenía la anterior a la que inicialmente asistía y por eso se cambió sin dudarlo.
Por eso es tan importante buscar profesionales recomendados para atender nuestra salud bucal y no guiarse solo porque cobran barato sino por la atención y el interés por la salud del paciente.
Es una edificación que, a pesar de estar ubicada en pleno centro de la ciudad de Cabudare, no es muy concurrida, debido probablemente a la situación económica del pais, que hace que algunas tiendas están desocupadas porque sus alquileres son bastante costosos.
Allí funcionan varios bancos, librerías,una pizzería, peluquerías, consultorios médicos, tiendas de ropa, zapaterías, cosméticos, tiendas de bisuterías, artículos para el hogar, entre otras.
También observé que existe un gimnasio que funciona en las tardes.
El edificio está construido en su totalidad con estructura metálica, con esbeltas columnas metálicas de sección circular y un techo y curvo decorativo de policarbonato color blanco, sostenido por celosías o armaduras metálicas diseñadas con tubos circulares y cuadrados de varios dimensiones y calibres.
Al principio me pareció que visualmente, el diseño de todo el conjunto parecía muy recargado por la cantidad de tubos y armaduras, pero cuando observé el techo en forma de cúpula central donde llegan las correas que le dan un aspecto de telaraña gigante, cambié de opinión porque ensambla perfectamente con el resto del diseño.
Toda la estructura está pintada con tonos grises y las fachadas de color marfil, lo cual contrasta con el piso construido con granito negro y bordes de granito sin pulir. Todas la puertas y ventanas son de vidrio templado color negro que le dan un toque de elegancia a la fachada.
Las escaleras que conducen al segundo nivel también son metálicas con peldaños revestido con piedra de granito sin pulir y dotadas de barandas curvas. Posee un amplio estacionamiento decorado con algunas jardineras donde se observan plantas ornamentales con flores.
En las fachadas se observa una especie de toldos curvos que protegen los locales de los rayos solares y de la lluvia, revestidos con teja asfáltica color verde que le da otra tonalidad a las fachadas.
A este centro comercial concurren las personas que se encuentran en el centro de Cabudare o que vienen de la alcaldía del municipio, que se encuentra a dos cuadras a pagar en los bancos los impuestos municipales.

It is quite a modern shopping center. I really like when they use those metal structures because it gives an air of industrial construction and that also gives it a robust and durable appearance. It's a pity that not all the stores are full because it's worth it for many people to visit.
Another thing I really liked is that the roof is so high that I can infer that the mall is quite cool because there are a lot of air currents and that is a point in its favor. Thank you for bringing this structure to the community.

Such an interesting shopping center @gpache! Through its appearance, the architectural character has been defined by the abundant use of metal reinforcement and aesthetics (trusses, wall decors, balustrades, railings, etc.), giving it an industrial atmosphere. As a result, the spiderweb effect on the translucent skylights and the rest of the building is incredibly spectacular! ☺️

Metal bars, frames, and materials are usually integrated in a building's structural composition. But on some occasions, they are intentionally exposed for visual creativity and architectural mood.
