RE: Architecture+Design Community Contest: World Architecture Day | Aula Magna (Central University of Venezuela) — UCV Caracas

Very nice post. All the lecture halls in universities are very beautiful because apart from being spacious and comfortable they invite to reflection.

I remember that the one in the city where I studied in the province of La Pampa was so big that it was used for events and congresses of different kinds.

I see that in Venezuela they use the classic North American style dress for graduates with the technique, the flat cap on top of the head and all that.

In Argentina I don't remember ever seeing it.

Beautiful memories @acont I imagine, of a part of life that, little by little, is being left behind.

Best regards as always.

The Aula Magna is a beautiful hall where many events are held, not only graduations. Some cultural concerts and stand up comedy, for example "La Tarde de Risas Azules".

I didn't know that, there was a lot of American influence in the 50's when this new university city was being built.

Best regards.
