RE: Sagunto: streets, buildings and a lot of history

Detail in the stone masonry is totally amazing, winding streets with cobble stones delightful except on your feet at the end of a day exploring.

Not one for cities, except if they old, tell stories of those who went before, well done on an excellent photographic visit.

Thanks a lot for your kind comment. That's true cobbled streets are not the best for exploring cities but in that time they were not thinking in tourism, anyway, it's cool, each stone means something that comes from the past. All there is interesting, many stories under those streets and facades, much to discover still, but we enjoy walking and moving our head up to see those wonderful decorations. Thanks again!

Fascinating place to explore, yes we never know what has been built on top of a previous older structure, some places are just that old!

So it's good to explore as much as possible to learn from the past... fascinating stories there!

History buried deep in some places, great to chat with older folk normally to find out more.

That's true, it's good to talk to local old people around and listen to cool stories... all is understood better 😉

but I’ve never seen one with more than four.
