Greetings to all architecture lovers! I am pleased to be back to recover my rhythm of publications after some time without being able to do so. These last few months have been difficult, as we have faced several problems in the country that have hindered Internet connectivity. However, things have been getting better and I am very happy to be back in the community.

This time I am going to write about the Miramar Trade Center, and in a previous publication in the community I had already commented on this complex formed by six buildings that house offices and shopping malls. It is located in the Reparto de Miramar, province of Havana, this is a place that brings me nice memories since for a while I was working in one of these buildings. What pleases me most is the design of its exteriors and the cozy and pleasant interior of its buildings. In addition, here you can enjoy the art and beauty that surrounds it, this time I will explain more about the interior of some of its buildings.

The buildings are located between Third and Fifth Avenues, and comprise two blocks from 76th Street to 80th Street. The block between 78th and 80th Streets contains most of these large office buildings. In the center of each of them is a wide gallery that connects all the buildings. The names of the buildings are Santiago, Barcelona, Beijing and Santa Clara, each representing well-known Cuban and foreign cities.

In the center of this group of buildings there is a large gallery, a large space surrounded by a beautiful garden, this is one of the busiest areas, a very quiet and pleasant space. Here is a large herd of elephants, represented by several sculptures of these majestic animals in different sizes. Although on this occasion I was left wanting to see the whole herd, as they were temporarily removed due to the hurricane season. Only the biggest ones were left, tied to the columns of the place.
This is the center of many commercial activities since on the first floor of each building there are several establishments such as airlines, stores and cafes. It also serves as a rest area and you can rest in the shade of some of the trees in this large garden.

The interior of all the buildings is quite similar. Upon entering the properties we find a spacious lobby accessed through a large glass door. All around is surrounded by glass walls that allow for excellent natural lighting. I really like that we always find numerous ornamental plants, which create a very cozy atmosphere. I also appreciate the various unique works of art that adorn the place and include paintings, sculptures and photographs. All of these are elements that embellish the space and make visitors feel welcome while enjoying a piece of Cuban culture. On the upper floors, the lobbies are also adorned with pictures and paintings.

The corridors are long, well lit and with large wooden doors leading to the different offices. The floors, whether tile or marble, are of a nice color and are always clean and polished. Cleanliness is something that is taken care of in every building, everything looks spotless and neat.

The exterior of all the buildings is surrounded by wide spaces with columns and a great view. This is a very popular tourist area, with several hotels nearby, each with a peculiar design. The Miramar Trade Center (MTC) is also very close to the coast and the offices facing Third Avenue have a beautiful view of the sea.

This is a very visited place and always full of people, it is not only a place of offices and stores but also a popular place to spend a nice time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I hope you liked the place, for me it's always a pleasure to come back here 💛.
