The remnants of yesterday's holiday trip to welcome the new year 2025 have not yet ended and still leave a lot of memories and of course there are many sweet moments that have not yet been forgotten, both in terms of culinary, tourist attractions, culture which is almost the same as my country and many other things that make me never get bored with this country apart from flight tickets which are also cheaper than when I had to buy domestic flight tickets to travel around my own country.
I have captured too many and I will continue to review them one by one and now I will show you the architecture of the Kuala Lumpur State Museum, Malaysia. This museum is in the center of Kuala Lumpur and not far from Kuala Lumpur Center. This very sturdy modern building from the outside made me want to know more about this museum. Apart from looking more modern, this museum looks very striking with the hand paintings on the walls at the top of the building which are visible at the front and that is the attraction of the building.
Because this building is too long and I took this photo too close, so I just documented it from the side. Then the building that protrudes towards the front at the top of the roof is almost similar to the Batak style building in my country, but this building is made like a terrace with a more prominent height compared to the right and left sides of the building. The design really stands out with the use of wall panels which are enriched with carved designs. Then the roof at the top which was also built in the middle of the building makes the appearance unique with a series of accessories using PVC on the ceiling, this is really unique.
I was also just fascinated by the paintings on the right and left of the building. This painting is like an illustrated story that clearly tells how the Malay people of this country worked together to build their country from British colonialism and worked together to maintain the traditions that exist to this day. Everything is painted with a dark brown paint background while the objects inside use more contrasting colors to really tell a story indirectly to visitors who come to this state museum. Not only that, all the things we consider trivial here are made as detailed as possible so that they have their own charm, for example all the steps in the middle are made of ceramic with an aesthetic abstract motif.
After seeing the design of this building, I saw what was in this museum. It turned out that in this museum there were several miniature planes on display, and locomotives or train carriages with historical stories in them. Apart from that, there are also rows of cars produced by this country itself, but I forgot where I saved this photo or I accidentally deleted it so I can't show it to you. Apart from that, there are also sellers of typical Malacca handicrafts there. If you are interested, you can buy them. And there are several drink and snack sellers who have started opening their stalls at the museum. And there are many other things that can be seen here, but because at that time there was quite a large educational group of kindergarten students so I didn't intend to go into the building because it was really very crowded.
However, this building is truly enchanting with many historical stories in it. While I couldn't enter the room, I was satisfied enough to walk around this state museum. Hope you guys like my trip to the Malaysian state museum today, greetings from maytom. Indonesia

Hi @maytom, the façade of the museum has a great design and beautiful paintings, my favorite part is the locomotive and airplane exhibit.
Greetings!
I also have the same assessment as you. and this exhibition section is the best photo spot in this museum @belkyscabrera
From the exterior itself, one can already appreciate the cultural prestige of Malaysia exhibited through its artistic engravings, sculptures, and live exhibits. Excellent architectural exploration @maytom! 😊
Thanks for Elevating Architecture and Design with Hive!
yes you are right, it is an artistic engravings and I forgot what type of carving it is. Thanks for reminding me of that @storiesoferne
This landmark's imposing facade together with its artistic ornamentations and massive wall murals are definitely my favorite features @maytom. I wonder how the inside would look like? I'm pretty sure it would be incredible as well. 😊
