This trip was done yesterday, exactly on October 1, 2024. And the activity of visiting the Museum was the first activity that I did for the school program this year after our previous visits changed places. This visit program aims to introduce the history of physical heritage, both original and imitation, along with its historical stories. I realize that the shift in culture and mindset of the current generation in my country is very different from my generation where literacy is still highly respected and sophisticated technology is only to find information about school lessons and other useful things. But now everything is very different and visits like this are very necessary to make them learn in a way that is not boring.
From the front of this building is very aesthetic I immediately fell in love but when I looked for the right angle to take a photo of the entire building from the front I felt very disappointed because it was blocked by several things such as flagpoles, lighting, small monuments and the Landmark Museum itself so that from the front I did not get the aesthetic photo. However, you can see for yourself how the front of the museum looks, especially in the form of ornaments filled with abstract carvings and the top triangle corner has a buffalo head symbol. And all the ornaments on the front roof of the museum building are one of the cultural depictions of the Batak tribe which is one of the largest tribes in North Sumatra.
And on the front wall on the right side there is a relief painting showing a photo of the proclaimer of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the first president and vice president, namely Mr. Soekarno and Mr. Muhammad Hatta. While on the left wall there are illustrations of several ethnic groups in North Sumatra complete with their respective traditional clothes. And the walls are given a soil color and then varnished so that the color looks striking and has a luxurious impression on the painting he made. Then I can also see the front zinc which is also given a brown color while the supporting pillars are made slightly protruding inward as seen in the picture on the side and I am confused about how to describe the design. You can understand it yourself through the picture that I share below.
And when I entered the museum. The spacious room with its clean and shiny flower floor and its simple ceiling shape made this museum more comfortable and not too scary and inside this museum is also very cool by the many air conditioners available. The lighting in the corners of the ceiling also helps the atmosphere in the museum to be brighter and more comfortable for places like this.
Entering the museum room deeper, it turns out that this museum contains cultural relics from various tribes in North Sumatra and stories of prehistoric communities in North Sumatra. And some of the cultural relics in this museum, I have also seen in various tourist attractions when I visited Lake Toba. It turns out that all are summarized in this museum complete with its historical history. And some bonuses of my personal documentation for you during my visit to the museum last night. And all of these relics are framed with glass so that no visitors are nosy to hold them or even steal the objects or have the intention to deliberately damage the historical relics.
So yesterday the students did not regret coming to visit this museum and they really enjoyed the trip. And hopefully in the future my school programs will still run to introduce culture to students. So far my post about our visit to the museum yesterday and greetings from maytom Indonesia

Hi @maytom, what a beautiful museum, I liked the colour of the walls and the colourful tiles, they give style and elegance to the floor, I'm sure the students were very happy with the visit to this amazing place.
Cheers!
Yes that right, they like visiting the museum @belkyscabrera
Although you were disappointed by some photographic aspects of this museum, I still believe you were able to provide justice to its architectural splendor by visually capturing its most essential exterior and interior elements. It was indeed an educational journey worth appreciating @maytom! ☺️
thank you and I am proud to have this building in my province. not only about the design but also about the science that is physically contained in it @storiesoferne
This museum exudes with an angled and geometric prowess especially if viewed from its exterior perspective. The interiors are not that complex but still radiates with a design simplicity that provides more focus to the exhibited artifacts. Nevertheless, the entire project is still remarkable @maytom! ☺️
Thank you and I like your comments because my vocabulary about architecture has increased @archmoments
