Let's see the Cave in the Middle of the City.

Hy-hy.. what do you think about my title. Is it a real cave? Maybe it can be said so because the layout is almost similar to a real cave but this is a cafe that I accidentally found during a trip to Aceh. precisely on the border between Medan and Tamiang City, Aceh. I thought the name embedded in the pamphlet was just a name for the cafe they built but it turns out the design they made is also close to that. The name of this cafe is 'Goa cafe'.

This cafe is located on the main road and next to an eyeglass shop in the city. From the front alone, we are presented with a very fine design, as if it were not cement that was deliberately formed to resemble stalactites, namely rocks that are usually found on the ceiling of caves that look like dripping water. In fact, it is just a design made of cement then formed and given the same paint as the cave in general. And on the sides it seems to be made like a log and then there are artificial green plants to make it look more natural. From this design alone, it looks cool to me, added to the model of the seating area in front of the design. Namely, real wood that is deliberately varnished to make chairs and tables so that it blends with the design of the cave.

Then I also saw the selection of vases on artificial orchid plants or imitations whose designs were very fitting to match the walls on the front of the cafe so that it formed the opinion that the orchids grew in wild wood on the edge of the cave. Very beautiful and natural. Then entering the cafe I was even more amazed because on my left side, right next to the entrance, there was also a mini stage equipped with many musical instruments and what amazed me was that the stage was made as if it were in a cave, from there my brain wandered imagining a tarzan with his typical costume playing guitar or keyboard. But unfortunately I couldn't watch the show because it was still daytime while the new music game would start at night.

Although I saw that this cafe was designed like a cave and followed the flow of the cafe's name, it turned out that the design was mixed into one with the existing modern design. Like decorative lights with ethnic models hanging on the gypsum ceilings. Then the partitions are made with a minimalist modern design made of softboard which also functions as a complement to the interior design to make it look more luxurious. Then from behind I took a photo to the front with their cart which indicated that the cafe was open. The cart also has a unique design, the side walls are beautified with bamboo motif wallpaper. The motif is as if it is a three-dimensional image of a fence made of living bamboo.

But never mind, even though the design is a mix of Caves in the Stone Age and modern designs that suddenly appear to complete all their interiors as if they ran out of ideas for the interior of the cave, it is worthy of appreciation. I'd better drink first to relieve my fatigue with a glass of refreshing cold orange juice. And don't focus on me who has a pale face, just focus on the many beautiful hanging lamps above me, the number of which is not just one but more than ten and it fills the empty spaces on the square-shaped ceiling.

Let's drink everyone. Good night to you and greetings from maytom. Indonesia

Wow! it looks like a real cave, they took care of all the details to make this beautiful design, I love the color and the decoration with wood and orchids.

Yes, you're right, but unfortunately not all places have designs like that @belkyscabrera

The stalactites they created really looked like God's creation, like the real thing. I was curious about the person or architect. very good work

do we need to go there again? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🥰🤗🤣🤣🤣🤣
