I discovered this building by accident while I was walking in China Town. This temple is located in an alley along Jalan Lorong Bandar 21. In this alley there are very beautiful caricatures in the form of peacocks with black walls and caricatures in striking colors with purple and green so that the caricatures are very lively and have good art. And in that hallway, I also saw flower sellers offering prayers at the temple. However, because I initially walked from behind the temple, I didn't know that in front of the hall there was a very beautiful temple and now here I am to show you the architecture in the temple.
Because the viewing angle was narrow, I couldn't take a complete picture in front of the temple, so I divided it in two. Look at the ornaments displayed on every corner of the walls and windows, they are very colorful, like my life or maybe yours too. Because it has lots of ornaments in every corner with a choice of colors that are striking and not just one color, the architecture in this temple becomes alive, the choice of colors is bold and I believe that the choice of colors in this temple has its own meaning for the congregation of this temple.
We start from the pole which looks like ice cream in my eyes, with a combination of dark brown and cream.. The bottom of the pole is designed like flower petals. While the pillars are shaped like flower pistils, at a glance I saw that the flowers looked like lotus flowers when they were in bud. And the pillars in front of this temple all have the same shape as that. And between the flower petals that are closed, there are accessories in the form of yellow metal in the form of small rings that surround the petals. And on top of the pole it also has a unique design too. Take a look. But what made me forget was touching the pole, whether the pole was shaped manually with cement and the skill of a craftsman or whether the pole was factory made.
While the layered walls seem to have several levels, the first level is dominated by a light brown color which was designed by adding small pillars to the wall, and each pillar is decorated with a touch of fan-shaped wallpaper and a peacock symbol. This symbol has a gold color and the background is given a dark brown color so that the color gradients that are created for each element make each element more unified and this is also sweetened with small reliefs on the lower pillar lists which make the more time consuming the manufacturing process becomes.
And on the second level, which tapers upwards, is a building typical of a temple with a distinctive bright blue color and has religious symbols such as a statue of the god Krishna and many more displayed there. And that's the extent of my knowledge of understanding these symbols because this is a sensitive area and I'm afraid of making a mistake when providing more in-depth information regarding the designs of these statues. And all the walls on the 3rd level up to the top all have religious significance. Please just enjoy the pictures I have taken and enjoy the beauty of the building.
Even though this building does not have a large parking area, it does not prevent worshipers from coming to worship here. . and this is a building with beautiful architecture apart from being used for certain religious worship. Greetings from maytom, Indonesia
