That is absolutely brilliant mate. Some friends of mine down in Bislig City in Mindanao live in a house almost exactly like that. I have stayed there many times. Next to the stairs, the platform was turned into seats that hung out where we sat and drank Tanduahay!

Inside the room was divided into a sleeping and living area by a curtain partition. It was a lovely family home.
