A model of the former city - and now only the remains and a large promenade - Kalemegdan

Kalemegdan is a part of Belgrade that includes a park, a museum of weapons and the terrain around the place where the Sava flows into the Danube.

The history that marks the Kalemegdan fortress is almost two thousand years long. During that time, the invaders took turns building, demolishing, extending and rebuilding the fortification. From prehistoric earthen ramparts, to today's city park.
