Hello lovers of architectural design,
Today again I bring you a view of something outstandingly beautiful that you would love. It is the new administrative block in my school (Benue state university, Nigeria) that is still under construction but at the finishing level.
Since my resumption to school, I have remained in my department, not been able to walk around the school environment. But I just remember that while we were still in school, men at work were digging the ground for the foundation of a building. So I decided to take a walk around the school compound today, and guess what I spotted in my adventure; that building, built, roofed, tiled and painted Looking very beautiful.
This building is not completed yet but as it stands, it is the most beautiful among all the buildings existing in the school currently. This is the reason I stopped by to take pictures so that I can share with my fellow lovers of architecture.
The reason I knew the building is still under construction is the fact that there are still some laborers around trying to fix other things.
I had wanted to enter inside the building so that I could take some pictures of the interior design but we were not allowed access inside. I actually went with a friend of mine, they told us that the engineer in charge of the build is not on site at the moment and they cannot allow anybody inside the building in his absence.
This restriction not withstanding did not stop us from admiring the beauty if this building and we appreciated the downloaded work of the architect who did the design.
I discover that there had never been such a design in my school. Such, the building is just a distinctive one; No one of course would pass by and claim ignorance of it.
At some point I was wandering what this spectacular building is meant for, until I asked one of my lecturers and he told me it is the new administrative block. When he told me this I exclaimed, no wander! He took observation and asked me why I exclaimed. My respond was that, “the taste is different”.
Except that I was not allowed access inside this build, everything about this building is distinct, from the architectural style, design, color of the paint.
If you look at the pictures you discover that, the painting of the building is a combination of three different colors. And I think that is what really fine-tuned the beauty of this building.
I and my friend walked round the building, as much as we were able to capture was only the exterior part of the architectural design I hope that it makes to you.
“Every good architectural work must leave you with something to talk about”, I always say. I have written so much already, just take a look and appreciate the good work of architecture.
