Hi Architecture and Design, how are you guys this time? did you miss me? haha. this time it's still about coffee shops, it turns out that living in a city of people for five years still can't fully know about this city. because before I was very busy with my work, and I couldn't get around too because I didn't know the way. after I had friends who were in an area that I had never visited, it turned out that there were lots of good places with unique buildings and designs. Even the location are almost close together from one cafe to another.
One of them is Berga.coffee which I accidentally passed by after returning from my running practice. Berga.coffee is seen from the outside just like a coffee shop usually built from a former house. but after entering, this cafe reminds me of my mother's house. with a vintage concept and becomes timeless when the rise of coffee shop today.
from the entrance gate, in the yard outside given patio chairs with round tables with matching colors. then with the entrance inside, Berga.coffee has two doors with double doors in white. on the right they put four sets of wooden chairs wooden table, I think the table is made of teak? because it looks sturdy and heavy. from the outside alone this building is very thick feel of the old house that our grandparents lived in. like being back home feel.
going inside, the room ordering drinks and food, but what made me curious were the two rooms behind the door on the right and left sides. and the room behind the white painted door in the middle. when I tried to enter the right room, red and white paint dominated the room, there was a long sofa placed there. as well as a long table. in front of the table was placed a small wooden chair. beside the sofa was a small shelf filled with several vases of flowers, a violin on display, a bed lamp, several books. and there was a long mirror there too. as if this was a room of a favorite daughter. this room was decorated very cool. don't forget the vinyl records displayed on the walls and the old posters displayed along the walls.
in the room on the left, there are four sets of wooden chairs for visitors. in contrast to the previous room, this room is a little minimalist. with a cream color chat and red paint on the left. near the door there is a small brown wooden shelf and a white iron shelf. on the wooden shelf are placed several vinyl records. while on the white shelf there is a radio with a very ancient model. but add to the classic impression. do not forget there is a bed lamp with a long pole. on the wall, a stand is made to display the collection of vinyl records. and of course there are old posters pasted similarly to the previous room.
What annoyed me was, because this room used wooden chairs, it was more noisy every time visitors pulled their chairs. it was a bit annoying. Even if you only pull the chair a little bit, it makes the friction between the chair and the floor feel louder.
not only that, behind the middle door, there is a spacious room with three sets of chairs, wooden chairs and two sets of sofas. what makes me surprised is that there is a rocking chair placed there. as well as an old mirror hanging on the wall. not only does it feel like being at grandma's house. but the rocking chair always reminds me of scenes in horror movies. isn't a rocking chair very synonymous with ghosts? haha.
Not only the rocking chairs, the big old shelves with old televisions and record players that add to the vintage concept are even more pronounced.
In my opinion, Berga.Coffee is very memorable for me because of its design and decoration that I rarely encounter these days. plus the atmosphere is calm, making me able to do my work comfortably. and also provided a socket for handphone or laptop chargers.
the food here is quite good, but unfortunately the portions are too small for this portion, when I ordered spagethi aglio-lio here, the spaghetti was still hard. so I didn't enjoy it. plus as the night wore on, many mosquitoes were flying around and biting my feet. haha. it was annoying. but overall. Berga.coffee is worth a visit.

Thank you!
The façade of the cafe has a simple but cozy design. I like the semicircular arch on the main door and the conical shape of the tiled roof. The interior decoration gives the feeling of being in a house and makes the cafe a cozy place.
Greetings!
Haii, nice to meet you
I think this place used to be a private house with an old building, then it was redesigned without changing the shape of the previous house. because vintage themes are currently popular
The vintage style theme in the design of the places, are always very successful, or at least I love them. Even for a coffee shop they seem to me a 10, nothing must be more delicious than enjoying a coffee feeling that you are living in another era 😊
That's right, a vintage theme like this will not bore visitors, even young people really like vintage themes like this
