Hii Architecture and Design, how was this week? I hope you guys are doing well and are always happy.
A few days ago, when I had just finished dropping off my niece from school, I accidentally saw a coffee shop on the side of the road next to a car wash. With its name written in large letters, RAMOTI COFFEE caught my attention. In the next day, I back to RAMOTI COFFEE again.
I decided to stop and go inside. The place is dominated by white, and is very minimalist. From the outside, there was a towering tree near the entrance, and there were a couple of chairs and tables near the door.
After entering, beside the door there was a long iron chair there, while beside it there was a vinyl record player, and there were several collections of vinyl records on the small table. And in front of the entrance, we were greeted with a large cupboard, which held some old books and a framed photo, perhaps of the owner of the cafe?
This place is so simple in my opinion, but what I like is the large, square-shaped window in the center near the entrance. On the other hand, in the purchase section, there are lamps hanging with square frames, which adds to the elegant impression there.
There are not many chairs here, only a long sofa on the right and center, a long wooden table and a small round table placed in front of the sofa. And an additional wooden chair in front of the table.
This place is actually very comfortable, because it is very quiet and not noisy, maybe because this place has more visitors from car wash customers. So I can enjoy my time here to do my assignment.
But there was something disturbing when I was here, there was the smell of spoiled milk, probably because there were drinks spilled on this sofa that were not properly cleaned, so they stuck and caused an unpleasant smell. On these sofas, there are many stains attached. Maybe some people who see it will be disturbed.
Apart from the dirty-looking sofa, this place also looks unkempt, such as the iron chairs that have seen a little rust. And the ornamental plants displayed on the wall were dead.
Not only that, outside the room, many fallen leaves were not cleaned up, probably because there was a big tree there. And some places are unfortunate because they look very unkempt.
After I searched through their social media, back when they were just opening. This place is very well maintained and nice, with white paint, the minimalist impression is very visible, especially with a clean and well-maintained environment. And it has a lot of customers.
Unfortunately, RAMOTI COFFEE is currently without an owner or even a barista, although from the outside it still looks good, but inside it is like a house that no longer has an owner. To liven up the atmosphere, there is only music played by the barista. There are only a few customers from the car wash behind the cafe.

it was so comfortable that it made me sit there for hours. even though there is a smell that is annoying at all 🤭😌

I like the view from the window and the cube shaped lamps, they look elegant, plus they match the wall colors very well.
