Warm greetings to every member and content consumer of this great and noble community- Architecture+ Design.

Today, I like to share with you the lovely and beautiful environmental design and sceneries.

Ife is an ancient town in the southwestern part of Nigeria. Historically, it is known as the cradle of the Yoruba race. That is the Yorubas originated from this town that is still very steeped in Africa tradition and culture. Ife is also regarded as the global headquarter of the race.

Ife Grand Resort and Industrial hub is owned by the King of the town, the newly installed Ooni of Ife. It is design to reflect the culture of the land, nature, adventure and a place to find pleasure.

At the entrance of the Grand Resort is this statue that clearly show the culture of the people. The woman in the statue is dressed in the traditional attire of the people of the land. Beside her are the musical instruments common among the Yoruba. The musical instrument at the left hand side of the picture is called gangan and the other one at the right hand side is called Shekere and the one behind the woman in the piece is called Agogo.

Some of the building are purposefully constructed to do the same. That is to showcase local raw materials that are use in building in ancient times reflecting the culture of the land. Below is an example of such buildings:

The environment is design in such a way as make visitors feel a sense of nature.

I love beautiful landscape like the above, it inspire a sense of awe in me. The Grand resort has many trees. String lights are twisted around many of these trees such that in the night, the whole arena take on an admirable look.

Today being the day of celebration for the Muslim faithful, many people were at the resort for pleasure.

There is a center for children to play. And kids could actually be sighted playing using the facilities.

The Grand resort also house many architectural wonders such as the Ojaja Arena.

Ojaja Arena is often used for important conferences and events. Unfortunately, I had no access to the interior decoration of many of the buildings because I gained entrance to the resort through the influence of my neighbor, Mr Kelvin who worked there as a chef, and not by payment of entrance or accommodation fees.

The King, who was a real estate magnate prior to his ascendance to the throne, is set to make the Grand resort into a smart city featuring a combination of African heritage and western civilization. The center offer hospitality services, and serves as a tourist and relaxation center for many.

I look forward to the day when I will be able to take out my family to the relaxation center and savor the beauty of nature on my own ticket.

Dear @saintgentle, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got an important support from the community. However, it lost its funding few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,

Your support would be really helpful and you could make the difference! Thank you!

Nevertheless, I will pay a visit in the nearest future. Perhaps I can capture the things you did not capture.

I am sure you will. I was somewhat in a hurry. I gained entrance only through the influence of my neighbor. I wasn't too comfortable taking pic because I didn't want to be embarrassed.

Thank you for opening my eye to the community in the first place.
