Hello community friends, how are you all, I hope you are fine. Today I will tell you about interior an airport in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Yogyakarta international airport is located in the city of Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta.
But because the airport is big and I don't have time to explore all parts of the airport building. When we got off the plane, we were immediately picked up by the activities committee.
My colleagues and I came to Yogyakarta to attend the national meeting of the kindergarten teacher community.
When I got off the plane I saw many unique ornaments typical of Yogyakarta culture, which were beautiful. First of all, I came across a room whose walls were decorated with beautiful brown Yogyakarta wooden carvings, and the floor of the building also had a batik theme, really strong culture was visible there.
The floor in that room also has a batik theme.
We continued along the building to get to the airport exit. There are large pillars supporting the building, glass walls that allow us to look out and there are several plants that add to the beautiful appearance of the building.
In another room we found a beautiful statue in the shape of a person's face, but interestingly some of the statues looked like mosaics flying in the wind. Looks unique to me.
We continued walking, and we saw that part of the wall had a painting, but this painting appeared and depicted a village atmosphere. There is a painting of the farmer returning home with the harvest from his field, the birds flying and the trees adding to the comfortable atmosphere in the painting
The corner of the room seemed to be decorated with plants and there was a sign showing the direction of baggage claim, and I walked following the directions.
Entering the baggage claim room on a beautiful pillar, I found writing in Javanese that said "sugeng rawuh" which means welcome.
And there is a beautiful pole that looks like a tree with leaves full of very beautiful carvings.
After taking my luggage I continued walking towards the airport exit.and in a room I saw a musical instrument displayed in the middle of the room. You can see gamelan and drum musical instruments arranged neatly there. Gamelan and gendang are traditional Javanese musical instruments. There are also carvings of trees like those used in shadow puppets.
And finally I arrived at the exit from the airport. And there is a beautiful gate with batik motifs that adds to the traditional atmosphere, and there seems to be ancient Javanese writing that I don't know how to read, let alone what it means.
In the outer yard leading to the parking area, there is a pond with plants at the edge. It looks bright and supports the glass roof with a beautiful roof frame. And lots of butterflies flying over the pool, even butterflies flying outside the pool, and I also saw lots of dead butterflies lying on the floor, but I don't know what caused the butterflies to die.
We arrived at the economic parking lot,
After waiting for some time, finally the car that picked us up arrived, wow, Yogyakarta international airport looks beautiful with its typical regional decorations.
Thanks guys. Hope you have a nice day and always be healthy and happy.

Yogya being Yogya. You won't miss anything artistic in almost every corner of Yogya. Even the airport is magnificent. I'm almost confused about which one to comment on, but overall, it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing the beauty of architecture.
