Hi community friends, how are you today? I hope we are always healthy and happy. Friends, this time I want to share a story about a place that I didn't expect to be a restaurant, but it turns out that this place has a lot of visitors. Even to find a seat we had to scramble.
What would you think if your friend asked you to eat at a restaurant that was said to be busy with visitors? Certainly in our imagination, it is a nice place with luxurious facilities, or a place with nice buildings.
But this time I was a little confused and surprised, when my friend asked me to eat at a place that was so busy and famous in Jogjakarta. Kopi klotok is the name of the place. When I arrived at the Kopi klotok restaurant, I saw lots of cars parked, lots of people sitting and eating under the trees. You can also see old wooden seats arranged in the yard. There is a very rural atmosphere there.
My eyes were fixed on an old house, made of wood without paint, the roof of the house was made of tiles, and it turned out that was the main building of the kopi klotok restaurant. To enter the old house is via stone stairs that look old and without paint either. In the room it was very crowded, the seats were also old chairs made of wood, my friend saw the empty guest chairs and immediately invited us to sit there immediately.
We took turns getting food, so that our seats weren't occupied by other people. And I immediately went to the food pick-up place, there we took our own food. I saw that the food available was really very simple food. Lodeh vegetables, tamarind vegetables, omelet, fried tempeh and chili sauce. It looks like the food containers are also very simple, even our dinner plates are also very simple, the plates are made of zinc, there are also old ceramic plates. The chili grinder and cracker container are also very traditional. Wow really rustic food and atmosphere. I remember that my grandmother used to cook like that too.
Here we are free to take as much rice and vegetables as we like, but we pay for omelettes and tempeh according to the amount we take.
While eating I looked at the building of this klotok coffee restaurant, the walls and pillars were made of wood. There are also old lamps hanging above.
In the room you can also see the kitchen where they cook food. The stoves are still traditional, they still use firewood, even their cooking utensils are still traditional. In the corner of the room I also saw an ancient coffee grinder.
When washing hands outside, the place for washing hands is also unique, using a barrel
And in the outer corner there is also a bird cage hanging, banana trees are also planted at the edge of the house.
There was also a building outside selling snacks made of wood too
If you miss the quiet rural atmosphere and old-fashioned food, you can visit Kopi Klotok. It's like we're back to the old times. Really comfortable.
Thank you for reading my story about the comfortable and busy old building, kopi klotok.

I think I've seen this place in video reels, it looks familiar and viral, I really like the old school ambiance
Yes, this place is famous, but I didn't expect that the concept of the building was actually an old building, and it was really calm and pleasant to eat there. Thank you @titisnariyah for stopping by my story
