Greetings friends of Hive and the Architecture+Design community. I come once again to show you a little bit of Medellin and this time I want to show you how this city keeps growing and also my admiration for Medellin grows, a very modern and so developed city that is the second largest and most important city in Colombia. I said it is the second largest Colombian city but the interesting thing is that it does not stop growing.
Saludos amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Architecture+Design. Vengo una vez más para mostrarles un poco de Medellín y quiero esta vez mostrarles como sigue creciendo esta ciudad y también crece mi admiración por Medellín, una ciudad muy moderna y tan desarrollada que es la segunda ciudad más importante y grande de Colombia. Dije que es la segunda ciudad colombiana más grande pero lo interesante es que no deja de crecer.
I have several years living in this city and its urban development is continuous and comprehensive in the city of eternal spring, which attracts more tourism and the desire to live in Medellin. So it is understandable that housing solutions and also commercial solutions are always being executed from various construction sites. The view of the city is made more fascinating and impressive by the great metropolis that is Medellin.
Tengo varios años viviendo en esta ciudad y su desarrollo urbanístico es continuo e integral en la ciudad de la eterna primavera, lo que atrae más el turismo y las ganas de vivir en Medellín. Entonces es comprensible que las soluciones habitacioanles y también las soluciones comerciales siempre se están ejecutando desde varias obras. La vista de la ciudad se hace más fascinante e impresionante por la gran metropolis que es Medellín.
If you come to Medellin when you take a first tour of it and you will see many striking buildings, amazing, very modern and also traditional designs. It is a metropolis that seems to be finished but it is not and what we see is a sample of a modern city in constant growth.
Si vienes a Medellín cuando des un primer recorrido por ella y verás muchos edificios llamativos, alucinantes, muy modernos y también diseños tradicionles. Es una metropolis que parece que ya terminó de construirse pero no es así y lo que vemos es una muestra de una ciudad moderna en constante crecimiento.
The planning of housing and commercial projects is continuous. I think that Medellin does not stop, it continues to develop, it continues to grow because it knows how to bet to win, it continues to attract investment and to become stronger.
La planificación de obras habitacionales y comerciales son continuas. Me pongo a pensar en que Medellín no para, sigue desarrollandose, sigue creciendo porque sabe apostar para ganar, sigue atrayendo la inversión y fortaleciendose más.
Medellin attracts many people and rightly the population is increasing so it is very normal to pass by a street and see the execution of housing projects in Medellin, at least to me it surprises me because they are built without loss of time. The works are executed quickly but in strict compliance with the safety measures that the project requires according to the requirements of the legal regulations. I can show you several photos of a residential building under construction that was on the way to my work, a work that in a few months was in its final stage.
Medellín atrae a mucha gente y con razón la población va en aumento por eso es muy normal pasar por una calle y ver la ejecución de proyectos habitacionales en Medellín, por lo menos a mi me sorprende porque se construyen sin perdida de tiempo. Las obras se ejecuta con rapides pero con estricto cumpliendo de las medidas de seguridad que el proyecto requiere de acuerdo a la exigencia de las normativas legales. Les puedo mostrar varias fotos de un edificio habitacional en construcción que estaba en el camino hacia mi trabajo, una obra que en pocos meses estaba de en su etapa final.
I am attracted by the variety of housing designs in Medellín. The models are so varied that there is something for everyone.
A mi me atrae la variedad de diseños en las viviendas que hay en Medellín. Son tan variados los modelos que hay para todos los gustos.
EPM, Empresas Públicas de Medellín, must also be recognized in the growth of Medellín, because the operation of public services is vital, so it is normal to see constantly the workers of the mayor's office doing repair and maintenance work in the city.
También hay que darle su reconocimiento en el crecimiento de Medellín a la EPM, Empresas Públicas de Medellín, porque el funcionamiento de los servicios públicos es vital, por eso es normal ver constantemente a los trabajadores de la alcaldía haciendo trabajos de reparación y mantenimiento en la ciudad.
If everything is in order you live well in Medellín, although the utility bills sometimes drown but they are fairly priced and you have to make an effort to have what you need to live well in this green city that continues to grow.
Si todo está en orden vives bien en Medellín, aunque las facturas de los servicios a veces ahogan pero tienen un precio justo y hay que esforzarse para tener lo que necesitas para vivir bien en esta ciudad verde que sigue creciendo.
Since I arrived in Medellin I was amazed by its size, I was dazzled because I could see the importance it has as a Colombian metropolis. If you do not know it, I invite you to visit it when you have the opportunity to travel to Colombia. From any point you can admire it, from high areas in the city itself or from the mountains that surround it, because even its location is impressive in the Aburrá Valley.
Desde que llegué a Medellín me asombró su tamaño, me dejó deslumbrado porque pude comprobar la importancia que tiene como metrópolis colombiana. Si no la conoces, te invito a visitarla cuando tengas la oportunidad de viajar a Colombia. Desde cualquier punto se puede admirar, desde zonas altas en la misma ciudad o desde las montañas que la rodean, porque hasta su ubicación es impresionante en el Valle de Aburrá.

Hello @sorprendente, beautiful photographs of the city of Medellín, the architectural designs are varied and striking, the growth of cities brings with it a greater number of constructions and new uses of space; I love the second photograph, it shows a spectacular view of this flourishing city.
