RE: Church of the Ascension - Centuries-Old Architecture Gained a New Life

Wow, that's really nice! Thank you!
Admittedly, I had never looked east, I always looked and made travel plans to the west. Even further west than the former communist republics. But now I am convinced that there are architectural masterpieces everywhere that are worth seeing and visiting. As for the color blue, you say "bring a sense of peace and harmony"... Isn't this exactly the "divine", the role of the "heavenly"? I may be wrong, but these are my perceptions. And sometimes symbolism is really understood by everyone, no matter what words they use for it.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Yes, the color blue and its role are indeed connected. A wonderful combination of color and architecture - symbolism in every detail. I, too, most often turned my gaze to the west. Previously, I did not pay attention to the fact that interesting places and buildings surround me here. In fact, architectural masterpieces surround us even in our native lands. It's nice to realize that there are like-minded people who are also not indifferent to the fate of the architecture of their country.
Wish you have a nice weekend 😊
