RE: San Martin de Tours Church

in Architecture+Design11 days ago

It's truly interesting to see German-inspired architecture in Venezuela. And it's surely one of your country's best cultural legacies. I'm particularly impressed by the amazing interior design of the Church of San Martin de Tours (although the nearby chapel is beautiful too), especially the main altar due to its organic theme. The combination of wood, stone, flowers, other natural materials, plus the colorful displays of stained glass is incredibly stunning! Thank you for showcasing this marvelous heritage @jesuslnrs! ☺️

Greetings brother! I had the same impression , on the outside it is delightful to see the architecture of the German colonial facades, but inside it is a combination of so many things, I think there is a bit of Venezuelan design in that altar as well. I hope to visit Germany someday, but this trip was very good for the family, especially for the weather up there.
