Greetings @lancang. Certainly, there are times when orders for furniture projects are not manufactured from scratch. Like that antique dining table, it's a modification job. However, there are occasions when renovating furniture pieces is a challenge especially if you want to revive their original glory, isn't it? 😊👍
Do you always accept orders for furniture alterations or renovations? Give me some examples when you refuse to work on such projects and what are your reasons for the decision?
I don't accept all renovation projects, sometimes there are those that I refuse and that's caused by several factors, one of which is because the costs are not appropriate, because when I received a request for a renovation project I first came to see it and calculate how much it would cost,
spend it to buy the material and also the cost of the process and if the owner accepts the price then I do it of course there is a negotiation process there but sometimes some consumers still maintain the price he wants and if I think it's appropriate then I take it and if not then I refuse, and maybe that's the reason why sometimes I refuse renovation projects,
thank you for your support...
That's right @lancang. Costs (operational.expenses, labor and materials, profits, etc.) are always crucial factors in the acceptance and delivery of furniture projects. The negotiations between clients and furniture manufacturers must result in a win-win situation or else why bother? At the end of the day, both parties must come out satisfied and happy with their business dealings. Makes a lot of sense! Thank you for your clever insights! 😊
You're wellcome...
