RE: The Architectural beauty of the oldest mosque of the town.

in Architecture+Design3 years ago (edited)

Because people from different walks of life have varying personal opinions about architecture, it's simply a subjective matter. As for the sacred building you've presented here, you've expressed your dislike for the mosque's latest renovations as opposed to its original architectural character. Aside from the historical value and your cherished experiences of nostalgia for the old mosque, what design elements and other features do you wish were not changed?

Hello @rem-steem, and a friendly welcome to the Architecture+Design Community!

To be specific, I loved the domes and white color. Now after remodeling and reconstruction it looks like a totally new structure to me and a very modern looking.
Anyway, it is the same oldest mosque and carries the same religious value.
Thanks for your warm welcome.
Have a good day.

Wonderful! Indeed, the color and domes of the original mosque made a huge difference in the overall human experience. This goes to show how architecture plays a crucial role in a society's beliefs, history, and culture.

It would be much appreciated if you would also subscribe to this community. Thank you so much for sharing your valuable thoughts.

Yes, totally agree with you.
I joined this community long ago. Usually, I peek randomly to see if anything to curate. Never got the change to share anything interesting.
