RE: Green urbanism | The model we need

in Architecture+Design3 years ago

Hello @sorprendente. Nothing beats a metropolis that's surrounded by natural environments. And you're truly blessed that your city of Medellin has an abundance of Mother Nature's treasures. Although high in pollution, the trees have the organic capacity to reduce the production of carbon because they help in absorbing harmful elements in the atmosphere. Your homeland certainly has the perfect balance between built habitats and natural ecosystems. And I'd like to congratulate you and your people on that. Cheers! 😊

Oh! thank you @storiesoferne for the congratulations, I will let some friends in Medellin know, I will tell them that it comes from you, a renowned urban architect and ecologist. For me it is a privilege to be in a city like this that has been recognized as a sustainable city for the commitment of the inhabitants to take care of public spaces, the level of conservation and ecological awareness is admirable. We should follow the example of a city like Medellín. By the way, this is not my hometown, it is my place of residence for now. My hometown is Maracay in Venezuela. But thanks for the recognition for Medellin. Blessings my friend 😉
