Kuala Lumpur Malaysia State Textile Museum.

Hi friends, don't get bored of exploring with me about the architecture of the buildings that I encountered during my travels, which I really like traveling with my wife. During my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I saw many very unique buildings whose themes do not exist in my own country, especially the city where I live. One of the buildings that I think is unique is the State Textile Museum which is near Petaling Street where I stay. As the name suggests, this building is very suitable to be called a museum because it has a lot of impressions in it, both in terms of the architectural design of the building and its history. Even though this building is called a textile museum, it is a shame that I can only document this building from the front side because this building is not open to the public because I came to this museum on the weekend to welcome the New Year.

I saw several buildings like this royal theme in Kuala Lumpur and this textile museum building was one of them that made me interested in immortalizing it. If it were my first time coming to this country I would think that this building is a dull building, but I have been to this country several times but this is the first time I will immortalize this building. And it turns out the color of the museum building is still the same as before. And after I observed it, it turned out that this was a natural brick color and I had no doubt that the quality had not changed after many years of not coming here. Even though I think this building is very old.

This textile museum is quite long and each door has iron bars so that homeless people do not enter the building carelessly. This museum with walls like a layer cake makes the building very distinctive where on the walls there are layers of real brick and then the next layer is a cement wall with calm cream colored paint which overall concludes that the building has a value that modern buildings do not have today. All these layers show a work of art

Looking at the Gothic windows is truly enchanting and of course the shape of the windows really fits the theme of the castle building like this textile museum. And what makes this building unique in its fabric apart from the windows is the shape of the building's roof. And everything reminds me of typical Islamic buildings which later developed into Islam in the western world. And I just remembered that when I was at school. And this building is oriented towards Islamic countries such as Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. My correction was wrong and as I type this I keep remembering my history lesson at that time.

A building that you must visit and come to this place at 9.00 am and this museum will close at 18.00. but once again because I came too early so I couldn't enter this building. However, you are sure that you will feel at home for a long time in this building because in front of this building itself is an independent plain which is very beautiful to enjoy in the morning when the morning sunlight makes our skin healthier. Then behind the building there is a photo spot of processed used goods which are then given a little touch of art by adding contrasting colors. So don't hesitate to come here and greet you from tomidiwirja, Indonesia

The façade of the textile museum is impressive, it has several windows and beautiful decorations, the flowers on the doors are my favorite.

The decoration with colorful threads looks great, I love it.

thank you, the decoration is outside the gate. I also don't know. Maybe there was a festival the previous day in this messium.

The State Textile Museum's architecture sounds absolutely stunning, especially with its unique blend of Gothic and Islamic influences. It’s a shame you couldn’t go inside, but your description really brings the building to life!

Do you plan to revisit when it’s open to the public?

really want to go to Malaysia again and enter this museum. yesterday it was closed, don't understand why it was closed, maybe it's under renovation.

Why does every museum building have a beautiful and amazing building? 😍

maybe because of the attraction for tourists to visit. I don't know either. indeed most museums are all good

The distinctive horizontal stripes of contrasting colors mixed with Islamic architectural elements is what makes this building incredibly stunning. Its mosaic patterns and geometrical shapes also add to its sensual appeal. Awesome exploration @tomidiwirja! 😊

Yes, that's right @storiesoferne, I think this building is a legacy from England, because Malaysia was a British colony. because its shape is like most buildings in England. sorry if wrong.

This museum with walls like a layer cake makes the building very distinctive

Definitely one of the best visual impressions of this building @tomidiwirja. An interesting masterpiece of Islamic architecture indeed! 😊
