Sunday is a day of independence for me and my wife where I can be a little lazy or travel to the desired places to relieve boredom. We must be aware that high work pressure affects stress levels and the brain becomes unproductive to think clearly and find new things there. For that, this Sunday I took advantage of to relax for a moment and decided to enjoy the view of Mount Sinabung for a moment because the distance from my house to Mount Sinabung only takes 1.5 hours with beautiful views on the left and right.
Even though I said I would take a walk to Mount Sinabung, I would not climb it, I would just enjoy the view from the many cafes that line up around Mount Sinabung to enjoy the natural scenery of the mountains, fresh air that is not contaminated by factory waste and vehicle smoke and enjoy the smell of trees and grass that are no longer found in urban areas. And I decided to stop at ERDILO Café which is one of the simple cafes but has a wide view of Mount Sinabung.
From the front of this cafe, it looks like a farmer's rest house around Mount Sinabung before they return to the main house after a day of farming in the garden, but even so, this cafe has a very strategic location and has a good design that has been created by nature. Because the view of this cafe is directly to the View of Mount Sinabung with a wide expanse. And this is very amazing, simple but not as simple as it looks. And don't forget the sticker attached to the front glass of the cafe is a sticker of the Community that has stopped by this cafe or camped here.
This cafe building is made of 80 percent wood and 20 percent of it is made of cement to slightly strengthen the building and not only this cafe but also the average cafe on Mount Sinabung is also made of wood because if there is a sudden eruption of Mount Sinabung Not too much loss is caused. And even though this cafe is made of wood, look at the place is very clean. And the chairs are neatly arranged. The chairs are made of Rambung or Karet wood which is often found on the edge of the forest around Mount Sinabung. And you can see for yourself there is no paint that enlivens the cafe or there are no accessories or interiors that affect the design of the cafe but this cafe is very crowded when it enters lunch time, so to be able to enjoy a quiet photo like me right now, you have to come very early in the morning.
The only interior I saw was the existence of bookshelves arranged like on the wall. Chairs made of wood that look more ethnic and there are also those who utilize leftovers made of drums which are then recycled into beautiful chairs and repainted. but the rest there is no interior whatsoever, even the ceiling is only made of simple plywood without any design and without paint either. So the only thing that is interesting and the main attraction is the design that has been formed with nature itself and it is the most expensive design there is and not all cafes have that view and this is the real luxury so that many visitors come to this cafe.
Oh yes, this café provides free chess boards and complete camping tents that you can rent, friends. If your house was close to this cafe, would you want to visit it? Express your opinions in the comments column and greetings from me Tomidiwirja, Indonesia
I loved every inch of this facility, and it is because of its simplicity and so much wood treated with so much love. Excellent post my friend, it has been very nice to visit you today, have a great week!...
Thank you for visiting my place. Almost all of the buildings in this cafe use wood. Maybe because there is a lot of wood in the mountains, so wood is cheaper. Thank you for your comment. Have a nice day
I think they should to re-build this part because that reduce the aesthetics of the cafe. At least, they have a view... Nice discovery..
Yes, but there may be some considerations for the cafe owners. Because I think the place is like a warehouse for them, a place to store unused items.
As a mountain climber, my eyes immediately focused on the many community stickers stuck on the glass. It reminded me of every climbing basecamp. The view must be really beautiful. Being close to nature makes us calmer
yes that's right. when i was there the weather was a bit cloudy so mount sinabung was not visible because of the many clouds and fog. hopefully next time i go there the weather will be clear. thanks for your comment
It looks like a cozy place, I like the mountain view and the cylindrical chairs, which are also an excellent idea to give a new use to containers.
