When traveling to a foreign place, of course, our first concern is accommodation. When traveling, people will concern about the accommodation because that is one of the important things. Even though it is only stopped to sleep, some people choose mediocre accommodation, and some choose the best.
I am someone who is efficient with my budget when traveling, so I will reduce my accommodation budget because for me it will only be used to sleep and put my suitcase. So I usually look for the cheapest hostel. Nowadays, instead a hotel, a traveler will choose a hostel because that affordable price. People don't mind sharing a room to reduce their budget. That's the reason I chose a hostel with a shared room in Singapore. Capsule Hostel in Singapore is even the same price as a room in a boutique hotel in Indonesia, so it is included in the expensive category.
So when looking for a place to stay I chose this hostel because it fits my budget. It’s Beat Sports Hostel.
BEAT Sports Hostel
This hotel is one of the popular ones, you can check it through reviews on your favorite e-commerce app.
I didn't have high expectations for this hostel. All I expected was comfort when sleeping without worrying about losing my belongings. Fortunately, my fears did not come true because all the customers were very honest.
When I checked in, it was already night, and I was late checking in. Because this hostel closes at 10 pm, the manager sent a message that I could immediately pick up the room key at the reception on the second floor. This hostel is located in a shophouse with 4 floors, where the surroundings are restaurants. While in front of it is the main highway.

The reception is very simple. This space is also in one room with the pantry and sports game section and is also connected to the men's rooms on the second floor. In this reception area, you can confirm your booking and also give a pin on the maps on the wall. It is a map that is pinned by travelers who stay there.
Sport Space and Pantry
A few steps away from the reception desk, you will see the pantry and sports game section. You can do anything in this room because the Hostel provides a sink, a refrigerator to store your food, a microwave, a toaster, a mineral water dispenser, a table for you to eat and do work with your laptop, read books, and games like billiards and basketball. I like the bookshelf section which is filled with many books.

I like this room which has a minimalist concept. The color selection is also very comfortable to look at. Most importantly, this room is very neat. I saw the hotel workers cleaning and tidying up this room early in the morning. Although this room has a self-service concept, there are still irresponsible people so it requires workers to ensure the comfort of customers.

In addition, gym equipment is provided in the third floor corridor. They also provide mats for those who want to do yoga.
The Room
And this is my room. This room is for women only, with 3 bunkers. Yup, I share with 5 other people. Two other people are Indonesian, 2 other people are Chinese and Korean and one Caucasian.

Although the room is full, no one bothers each other so this room is very comfortable. This is my first experience sharing a room and I will not be deterred. I will do it again.

In conclusion, BEAT Sports Hostel has a very interesting concept by utilizing every space as well as possible. There is no room left empty. I also like how the manager makes a boundary between women and men so for an introvert like me, it is very comfortable. Even so, I also feel comfortable being in the sports room next to the reception desk even though I have to meet other guests. I think I will stay here again if I have the chance to return to Singapore.
