Hi Everyone...
Did you know that if we go to a Mall, there will definitely be a food court area where many food tenants sell their food without partitions so that visitors will be free to choose and then take a seat anywhere. Let me show you one of the food courts at FX Sudirman Mall that has changed from year to year.
This is Cindaga, the Food Court area at FX Sudirman Mall, one of my favorite malls that I often visit. This mall is close to the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, making its location very strategic. Every time I start or finish doing activities at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, I usually visit this Mall. Either to prepare myself before running, to pray, to go to the toilet, or to find a dinner menu.

FX Sudirman Mall
Yesterday, I visited this Mall to write Hive and continue the novel that is in the process of being worked on. I chose this Cindaga Food Court because this food court is not like other food courts that sometimes get crowded. In this Food Court, I can choose a seat facing the Softball stadium. That is the view that many customers want when they stop by to eat at one place, and I was lucky to get a place with a great view like that.
Talking about Cindaga Foodcourt at FX Sudirman Mall, I was amazed by the concept they presented. At first glance, you might think that this food court is ordinary, but look at the details. Look at this part, they designed the front view of this food court in such a way by adding a swing installation with a rope made of woven bamboo. Don't forget there are also some baskets and flower waterers there as decorations as if to tell you that the concept of Cindaga is a typical village in Indonesia.
At the entrance from the other side, you can see a miniature wooden boat that functions as a place for plants. It gives a very traditional and meaningful impression where wooden boats are usually used by fishermen to catch fish in the sea, as you know Indonesia is a maritime country so many of its residents have professions as fishermen. Meanwhile, for me, this boat gives the impression that Cindaga has a typical Sundanese concept, one of the tribes in Indonesia. I could be wrong, but that's what I felt when I saw this boat.

Walk a few steps, you will find tenant installations where each tenant sells typical Indonesian food. There are no burgers, coffee, sandwiches, Ramen, or other foreign foods in this area. All of them sell typical Indonesian food, such as Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng, Cireng, Ayam Bakar, Es Pisang, Es Krim Durian, and others.

For tenants who sell snacks, they provide carts made of wood and woven rumba. These two snack tenants add to the Sundanese feel when I see them.
In this section, you will be surprised by the ceiling which displays many winnowing baskets and bird cages all made of woven bamboo. This adds to the typical rural impression.

In the selection of furniture, it seems that it is not in line with the concept I mentioned earlier. However, the furniture they choose deserves appreciation because the brown color provides comfort to look at.

Cindaga Foodcourt has an interesting concept by adding several installations of traditional kitchen tools in several parts. This will remind us Indonesia is very rich in culture.
