It is impressive how you can appreciate the vestiges of these ancient civilisations, where different cultures were present and each of these civilisations gave their contributions to the development of human progress in all senses. Indeed, without truly appreciating our historical treasures of architecture, there's no way we could have achieved our current building technologies. Everything has to start somewhere, right? And as humble as the beginnings of the Amman Citadel were, it has taught us to learn from the past, and improve from it for present and future applications.
