Benijo Beach is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Being there, I didn't waste the opportunity to take many photos and videos. I have already shown you Benijo Beach in my last video of the series "Exploring Tenerife in 3Speak": Adventure in the Awesome and Remote PLAYA BENIJO🌄🌊🌍, but after that the unknown arose: What am I going to do with so many photos? I definitely had to add more about this beautiful wild and unspoiled place on Tenerife Island.
La Playa Benijo es uno de los lugares más asombrosos que he visitado alguna vez. Estando allí, no desperdicié la oportunidad de tomar una buena cantidad de fotos y videos. Ya les había mostrado la Playa Benijo en mi último video de la serie "Explorando Tenerife en 3Speak": Aventura en la Impresionante y Remota PLAYA BENIJO🌄🌊🌍, pero luego de ello surgió la incógnita ¿Qué voy a hacer con tantas fotos? Definitivamente tenía que agregar más acerca de este hermoso lugar salvaje y muy virgen de la Isla de Tenerife.
Normally we see reflections in the water, but when the waves of the sea wet an extremely fine beach sand, it can give the sensation that it is a water surface, for a few seconds. Many of the beaches of Tenerife have the particularity of having a black color very characteristic of a volcanic environment. This allowed me to take a good picture of the Roque Benijo, which gives this beach a very particular aspect, wild and beautiful at the same time.
Normalmente vemos reflejos en el agua, pero cuando las olas del mar humedecen una arena de playa extremadamente fina, puede dar la sensación de que se trata de una superficie de agua, por algunos segundos. Muchas de las playas de Tenerife tienen la particulardad de poseer un color negro muy característico de un ambiente volcánico. Esto me permitió tomar una buena fotografía del Roque Benijo, el cual le da a esta playa un aspecto muy particular, salvaje y hermoso al mismo tiempo.

I have already said it on several occasions, and it is something that many mention after visiting this beach, but the landscapes it offers seem to come out of the famous series Game of Thrones, indeed, I would add that perhaps Dragon Ball was also inspired a little in this area of the world. With the reflections formed by these rocks and the mountains on the wet black sand, you have very spectacular views.
El otro roque característico de esta playa, pero no menos espectacular, es el Roque de la Rapadura. Tiene una forma más cilíndrica y uniforme. Ya lo he dicho en varias ocasiones, y es algo que muchos mencionan tras visitar esta playa, pero los paisajes que ofrece parecen salidos de la famosa serie Juego de Tronos, es más, yo agregaría que quizás Dragon Ball también se inspiró un poco en esta zona del mundo. But we have not only reflections but also some spectacular shadows. On the horizon, you can see the darkened or shadowed figure of other rocks and mountains in the area. It was around 8:00 AM at the time these pictures were taken, so the sunrise contributed to getting pictures with a very special look. It was a cloudy day, so perhaps the photos have a bit of an "apocalyptic" look to them. I really enjoyed visiting this beach, you can feel a different vibe there, almost as if it were another world.
Pero no solamente tenemos reflejos sino también algunas sombras espectaculares. En el horizonte se puede ver la figura oscurecida o sombreada de otros roques y las montañas de la zona. Eran alrededor de las 8:00 AM al momento de tomar estas fotografías, por lo que el amanecer contribuyó a obtener fotografías con un aspecto muy especial. Era un día nublado, por lo que quizás las fotos tengan un aspecto un poco "apocalíptico". Disfruté mucho de visitar esta playa, se siente allí una vibra diferente, casi como si se tratase de otro mundo.
I believe that this phenomenon does not occur on all beaches. To obtain sand that reflects the landscape of the horizon, besides being fine enough, there must also be waves that have enough thrust to carry the water away and wet a large area of sand. If you notice, many beaches have waves that don't go very far, but on these black sand beaches in Tenerife, the waves extend a great distance, without the need for very high waves. Maybe because they are very flat beaches. If you ever visit Tenerife, this beach is highly recommended for its views, although on the other hand, it is not so easy to reach and can be a bit dangerous for swimming.
Creo que este fenómeno no se da en todas las playas. Para obtener una arena que reflecte el paisaje del horizonte, además de ser lo suficientemente fina, también deben de haber olas que tengan el suficiente empuje para llevar el agua lejos y humedecer una gran superficie de arena.
