Last Father's Day we went to the cemetery to visit my father-in-law's grave well we also visited my mother-in-law as well. There were so many people in the cemetery to pay their respects for their father's as well. It was like a festival but in a quiet and respectful way. You can see families sitting on the grass around each other's plots where they lay their loved ones.
I don't know but since the pandemic a lot of people now frequents the cemetery specially during Sunday's and special occasions. This place is now the favorite go to place when families get together. I guess the pandemic has made the families even more closer. Plus since this cemetery is like a huge lawn with manicured grass so it only feels like having a picnic, everybody having their chill out time.

Mr. Moon even made the celebration more intimate, relaxing and just having a cool ambiance.

Well back to my shadow😄😁 hubby and I had a hard time finding a parking space that we ended up parking on top of a small hill at the back end of the park. While we were talking with my brother-in-law and nephew, from a far I saw the shadow of strads from the candle lights and from the passing cars.

Actually the shadow of strads can be seen just a backdrop were my hubby was sitting. I just zoomed in my phone to get a bigger photo of the shadows.

It was truly a very beautiful evening then we headed to our favorite go to restaurant to have our Father's Day celebration as a family.

Great shadow photo! I love the tradition of visiting cemeteries.

!PIZZA

Yes Ms. Melinda, we wouldn't want our future generations not knowing who their ancestors were, also it's the perfect way to pay respects to them.

I wish that was more of a tradition here

I guess we got this from the Spaniards who colonized our country for 333 years!!!
Great tradition for both the young and olds most specially the new generations nowadays who needs to be reminded of their roots so they will stay humble, loving and respectful.
