Yesterday, while walking around the marina on the outskirts of the city and observing the stuff around me ...
... I noticed many interesting reflections in the calm, shallow water of that suburban bay.
Some illusions were well defined and geometric ...
... others were more like elusive abstractions.
At one point, near the and of that walk ...
... hundreds of sparkles appeared on the water.
I mean, these fragmented reflections that looked like little stars ...
... were appearing and disappearing.
The light was dancing on the water.
It was a great free spectacle.
Here you can see an interesting composition made of elements of a small, makeshift pear and its reflection, a piece of algae-covered concrete in the sea with the accompanying reflection, and the reflections of two seagulls that have remained out of the frame. The following photograph ...
... shows a minimalist composition. Only one makeshift buoy made of a canister, its reflection, and a fragment of sailing boat reflection.
Here you can see something that looks like a symbol.
This more chaotic photograph shows a nice variety of reflected things in one frame.
I saw many boats and their reflections ...
... but somehow ended up focused mostly on this little red one.
Maybe because of the color.
Here you can see some fuzzy, screen static-like sailing boat reflections.
Those high poles that hold the sails looked especially cool reflected on the water. Here you can see them combined with a mussel-covered piece of something protruding from the shallows.
At one point a young seagull accompanied by its reflection passed through the scene.
Meanwhile, about fifty meters further ...
... the sparkles were dancing on the water.
In this photograph, I froze them in time.
Here you can see a diagonal composition, for a change. This is yet another small pier made of old wooden planks and rusted metal. I mean a reflection of that pier.
In this photograph, the reflected masts of the sailing yachts in the deeper part of the harbor aren't shown upside-down like in the previous shot. A group of seagulls was floating above them, and that combination created an interesting, slightly surreal scene.
Here you can see some blue thing on one of the long, more solid piers. The accompanying reflections are also present in the picture.
AND THAT'S IT. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE ILLUSIONS CREATED ON THE SURFACE OF THE SEA. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.

Zdravo, doista spektar divnih fotografija 👏
Hvala. 🙂 Male luke i marine su zahvalna mjesta za ovakve fotke. Bude svakakvih detalja u odrazima. I gradovi poslije obilne kiše su isto super ako su im ceste grbave pa ima dosta lokvi.
I like the simple trick of turning the reflection upside down to make it look like it is upright.
🙂 Me too. It never gets old.
Very nice photos! Reflections seem more beautiful than the real things! Much more sparkling and movement. The sky is very nice and blue too.
True 🙂And on the water, the reflections are constantly changing. One thing can have many different shapes.
Oh, how I love these reflection pictures, and the light dancing on the water...
Wonderful reflection @borjan and so many you found.
The little “stars” are just cute… one could get lost watching them.
Boats and harbours are always great to find reflections.
I love your attention to detail and the symmetry you found amazing shots! Great work! !BEER for you

wonderful stunning sparkles on calming water. really it's very relaxing for mind
The sparkle in the water looks so beautiful and attractive, is it because of the sunlight that it looks like stars in the water?
Yes, these are sunlight sparkles.
Looks so beautiful on the water surface, high artistic soul
Those are really nice reflections
