The reason why I didn't want a camera with interchangeable lenses is that lenses are very expensive.

Yes exactly- and heavy.

I remember back in the mid 80's when I worked in camerahouses selling the complete camera as 1 package for 1 price, and then if you wanted extra lenses, ofcourse they would cost extra.

That was in the days when you paid just the one price for a loaded ham/salad sandwich.

Now you pay for every component separately, which works out to be a hell of a lot more expensive and that sandwich which used to be $5-6 is now $10-12 for the same ingredients, like they way that cameras are now sold...

The difference is that now people pay 10 times more for the lenses than one did for the camera body.
So no, I am happy with my camera.

Yeah so true and that to me is one of the best selling points to BUY a bridge camera and NOT a body + lenses (that's NOT a proper sandwich is it..🤣..)
