entry reflections 215: the lights of Al Said

the superyacht Al Said is owned by the Sultan of Oman and is docked at Muttrah Harbor in Muscat. in 2022 the luxurious 155 meters long vessel was listed for sale at a price of USD 600,000,000. though that is out of my budget range i was able to view the lavish vessel at dock after dark recently. while the ship is indeed impressive, what caught my attention more was the traditional wooden vessel moored nearby humbly basking in the reflection of the lights aboard the far grander modern craft
