My entry
I use to be afraid of shadows when I was a little boy and I did not like darkness because it scared me. Maybe I was just afraid of my insecurities or perhaps my mind had made them up. It could also be that I was taught to be afraid of that, they had instilled fear in me instead of faith.
But growing up is a beautiful thing. Along the line, we hear to overcome weaknesses and fear. I believe it all because of the knowledge and understanding we get to acquire along the line. It is like when you turn on the light; darkness quickly hides from the sight of the light and so does fear as we grow older.
I have learned to appreciate the opposite of everything. It is what makes the world go round. He who was sad or hurt now knows and cherishes true joy and happiness when he experiences it.
I have learned to love the shade/shadow. I take refuge from the sun under the shades of the tree.
Isn't it beautiful
Yay! 🤗

You are very correct,@headwan.I was afraid if the dark also when I was growing up.Every shadow I saw somehow looked like a monster to me.But as you said,we all tend to out-grow such fears and as we mature,we may even end up living what we once feared!
Yes, some things just need time and patience to overcome. Thank you for your input
