Hello Shadows Hunters and hello to all Hivers. This is my entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh - Round 237.
I was finishing some work when my five-year-old son invited me to come to his room. I asked if it was urgent because I still had a lot of work to do. He said that I have to come immediately. I thought that maybe he is not feeling well because these days he has a problem with a respiratory infection and that is why he spends most of the day in his room playing. I went to his room and when I opened the door I saw the shadow of a terrible spider on the wall.
My heart started beating hard and my hands were shaking. I couldn't even feel my legs. In a word, I was terrified. 😀 When I screamed, my son said "mom what's wrong, it's just a rubber spider". He was in the dark and turned on the lamp that was pointed at the wall. It was so dark that when I entered, all my attention was focused on the wall and I did not immediately see that he was holding a spider. I didn't even know he had spiders like this. My mother-in-law bought them for him a few days ago, maybe with the intention of scaring me. 😀 I don't know but she did it. 😀
My son said that he would show me some more shadows and then the idea came to my mind to take photos of them and participate in this week's contest. He told me he was going to show me another smaller spider. He took it out of the box and some hair was attached to it and it seemed to be hanging in the air. 😊
He cut the paper into a heart shape and put a spider hanging over it. It looked interesting.
He told me that the heart was for me. My Shadow Hunter is very charming. 😊
Then he showed me some more interesting shadows. His sword for example. 😊
And the shadows he made with his hand.
For the picture above, he says it's a duck. 😊 It is not visible at first glance, but when you focus on his two fingers, you will see that they resemble a duck's beak.
For the picture below, he says that it is a rabbit, but it could also be a snail. 😊
I liked the peacock the most. His thumb is the peacock's head, and the peacock's gorgeous wings are his fingers.
There is also a swan or whatever it is. 😊
And many more shadows... This is actually my son's participation and he chose the first photo for the contest - a scary spider. 😊
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
Jelena
I love how creative your son is Jelena!
These are so cool shadows :)
Thank you so much. It's a good thing he wasn't inspired by the toilet this time. 🤣
jeje a toilet shadow 🤣🤣
That might have had interesting results!
My pleasure, thank you! 😊
If I saw that shadow on the wall I would be frightened, too! Thanks for entering the shadow contest 🌞
The spider was really scary. It's even scarier when you touch it. 😀 Thank you, I participated with pleasure. 🤗

Play with shadows is really funny 😅
Yes, it's very funny, my son enjoyed it and so did I with him. 😊
Recuerdo que cuando era un niña, también hacia estás sombras en mi habitación con mi hermana, era muy divertido. Pero vaya, tu hijo es más creativo que yo en esa época. Geniales sombras! Saludos!
Thanks a lot. 🤗 I also had such moments with the shadows in my room, beautiful memories.
