Lakes can be quite extraordinary they hold beautiful nature and very lively wildlife with many species of birds who come to enjoy the natural foods of the lake and the peacefulness of the breeding grounds, we were driving along the coastline from Sydney heading back to Byron Bay when we decided to have a lunch break and pulled into Forster a small town situated near the Myall Lakes National Park, Mayall Lakes consist of three lakes within this huge National Park area the one we were near was called Two Mile Lake, a beautiful flat lake were you can try your hand at fishing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking also has many hiking trails and can camp lakeside. The environment and wildlife is very protected in this national park, I have heard it is one place you can see little penguins and mutton birds.

This next lake is a man made lake in Chewang, Koh Samui, Thailand it is one of the biggest man made lakes in Thailand with a stunning private houses built in the middle of the man made island in the center of the lake with 360 degree views capturing the most stunning sunsets from this lake. The locals jog or walk around this lake morning and evening it's the perfect ideal environment for a jogger or for one who just likes to walk.

so beautiful photos! two such different lakes, wouldn't know which one i would like better :)
Thank you @katrin-lux the first lake would be my preference as it is natural although the man made one is awesome looking also.
Beautiful photos @kohsamui99!! They look like gorgeous and peaceful places that I would love to visit but probably never will so I shall settle on seeing them through your camera lens. Good luck in the contest to you also!! 💕
Thank you @deerjay glad I could bring these photos to you through my camera lens but you never know were you might find yourself one day keep them dreams alive 😁
You're very welcome @kohsamui99! The one place that I would absolutely love to see before leaving this earth is Montana. I think that is the only one that I have a shot at too before that time. If not during this lifetime then maybe I'll do a "flyover" from the other side..lol. 😉
Montana a great choice beautiful place great mixture of cultures, I would love to see the Himalayas mountains in Tibet and fly over them mountains like a Eagle 😁
One of my favorite movies is The Horse Whisperer for the story and cinematography. Something about wide open spaces and no people around although I'm sure there are plenty there in some places. The Himalayas sounds awesome too. Have you ever tried any of those virtual glasses/goggles? If they had them for that then you could spread your arms wide and probably feel like you were there. I tried it once and it was so weird but cool also. I should see if they have one for Montana..lol. 😉
Love them wide open spaces especially when I am on them long walks, hiking or camping in the mountains with no one around except for your partner. I have tried that with the virtual glasses/goggles once skiing down steep snowy mountains and another on a speeding train down steep hills and around mountains what a blow out that was loved it 👍
Nice lake reflections photography.
Thank you
