We went for a walk in one of our local parks a couple of days back, on what was a very still and sunny autumn day.
This particular park surrounds a "lake" of sorts, that is actually the result of an old tidal lagoon that got cut off from the sea.
Since the water was quite mirror-like, and we got some nice photos, I decided to share some of them to the Reflection Hunters Contest Round 136 organized by @olgavita! It's my first time trying this challenge.

The result is that we now have a fairly large expanse of water that is barely 2 feet (60cm) deep, at deepest. The city has turned it into a bird sanctuary, and there are walking paths all around it.
Originally came out here because we needed to find some of the reeds that grow at water's edge, to use in an art project. But overall, it was just a really nice day to be out.

The vague clouds you can make out in the photos above soon became thicker, and by the end of our walk it was not nearly as pretty.
This is a more panoramic view from the opposite end of the lagoon lake. Unfortunately, the clouds made it look a lot darker, and not as pretty.

As I mentioned we were looking for rushes for an art project. Although most of them grow in the water, a few are also up on shore in the wettest parts of the land.
The water close to the shore is mostly on the murky side because it tends to be so still. However, did manage to get a couple of nice reflections before the clouds moved in!

Regardless, it was a very nice autumn day to be out and about. Soon the rainy season will really come into effect, and more of our activities will be indoors.
Finally, thanks to the Shadow Hunters Community and its team of volunteers for hosting this challenge!

Thank you so much @ninahaskin! It was really a beautiful day for an outing. Well, part of the day, at least!
As the saying goes, "As above, so below and nature is a mirror". You had an excellent perspective and the images are sublime. Regards, @labyrinths
