Before heading to my workplace at the boondocks this morning, I dropped by at the mouth of the Maragayap River to have some reflection hunting as I still have some enough time to spend before proceeding to the next village to go uphill. Upon looking at the surface of the water, I immediately noticed that the wind is starting to cause disturbance that can hamper my reflection hunting spree. As the wind gently sweeps the surface of the water, ripples are formed that look like dancing jewels. Yet, the reflection of the rising sun remained clear which cast a golden reflection on the water. The silhouettes of trees lined up at the left side of the river bank, while the graceful curves of the river bank from the distance are outlined on the other side.
I immediately walked closer to the sandy beach and look for the ideal spot to find an ideal spot and some good subjects along the river bank and found out that the kiosks alongside the trees with the view of the mountain (that I am going to climb afterwards) on the background, as well as the stairs leading to the beach have a nice perfect reflection that seemed to spared by the wind.
Then as I walked further on the sandy beach to look for possible subjects, something caught my attention and that is no other than the excavator that is used to dig the sand in preparation to layout a dike along the shoreline.
I zoomed in the lend to determine if this can make a good subject and I found out that it is fit to become as such.
Also, I try to look for another spot to photograph the kiosk with the view of the tree line amidst the sunrise.
Then I walked closer to the excavator and I found out that the water seemed to become calmer at this time of which provided an almost undisturbed reflection of my newfound subject.
Without wasting much time, I hurriedly looked for the ideal spot to take a few clicks as the wind will once again become uncooperative to my reflection hunting session.
Then though for a quite a time, the sun was able to free itself from the clouds and so as the wind that ceased to blow the water surface of which made a breathtakingly well detailed reflection.
