Hi all 👋🏻
My first photo in this post will be my entry into the Shadow Hunters Contest, round 213 run by @melinda010100.
And it depicts the Shadow of 5 sun loungers on a large terrace of a villa in Arenas Spain.
It had just rained… the tiles and sun loungers were already drying up again in the sun ☀️
This is a view of the outside part of the large terrace I’m standing under the covered outside part… so the architectural features are seen / the arch in this photo.
Let me show you a photo of the villa from the other side:
It’s rather unique.
I love this place… I lived there for a while when I was painting murals on the inside and outside of this villa.

This is the view… behind the wall. You can see all the way down towards the coast.
Driving up here in my Classic Mini took almost 30 minutes.

The villa has a unique form, it replicates the curve of the surrounding mountains. I can see the flow of inspiration in such a place. Do you miss living there?

I do miss living there. The villa had lots of space and the area is beautiful. Not to many tourists there.
Not having too many visitors to disrupt the creative space work well. I often think we leave a part of ourselves in every place we lived in. Have a beautiful Wednesday!
Yes, I think that too. And the other way around. We keep little memories from every place we lived in.

Yes it’s good that I could be there alone and no disruptions in any form. Just wild life visiting once in a while.

Busy times though, as Thursday we fly to our family for the first time in over 2 years. Haven’t seen them in a long time. So busy preparing little gifts, planning stays…( we hop around 4 times in 2 weeks) and public transport… lots of things. Looking so forward to it. 🥰

Yes you could… I did many many times.
It was so much fun being up there, painting colourful paintings on the walls and having this view… I loved it 🥰 what else could you ask for…

The current owner had it build many years ago.
He lives in the UK and only uses it for holidays.
This is the one I painted those murals at. The nightscene, the tree of life... 5 in total... will post another one, one day soon.
