Reflection Hunters Contest - Round 201
This morning I received a call from my mother, who was having trouble starting her car, so I went to the building where she lives.
Upon arriving at the parking lot, I met my nephew, my sister's only son, whom my mother had also called for help.
After trying to help the car, we finally gave up because unfortunately the battery had exceeded its useful life, refusing to work, so we proceeded to uninstall it to buy a new one and leave the car in optimal conditions.
Coincidentally, while we were acting as improvised auto mechanics, the parking lot floor was being washed with a high pressure water jet to remove any tire, grease or oil stains that might be present on the surface, a situation that I took advantage of to take some pictures of the reflections that the wet floor offered.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Esta mañana recibí una llamada de mi madre, quien tenía problemas para encender su carro, así que me dirigí al edificio donde vive.
Al llegar al estacionamiento, coincidí con mi sobrino, el único hijo de mi hermana, a quien mi madre también había llamado en busca de auxilio.
Luego de procurar auxiliar el carro, finalmente desistimos porque lamentablemente la batería había excedido su vida útil, negándose a funcionar por lo que procedimos a desinstalarla para comprar una nueva y dejar el carro en condiciones óptimas.
Coincidencialmente mientras ejercíamos como mecánicos automotrices improvisados, el piso del estacionamiento estaba siendo lavado con un chorro de agua a alta presión para retirar las manchas de neumáticos, grasa o aceite que pudieran estar presentes en la superficie, situación que aproveché para tomar algunas fotos de los reflejos que el piso húmedo ofrecía.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
