Hello everyone!
I am joining this week´s Reflection Hunters Contest #42 and this is my entry. The first image is my main entry. The images were taken at the Wasserpark/(Waterpark) in the 21st Viennese District. This used to be our diestrict for more than 4 decades and we would always come here to walk and sometimes feed the birds. Just a couple of years ago they have prohibited the feeding of the birds because the residues of bread or whatever that is thrown into the water will affect the eco system of the ponds and this could make the birds sick.
The park serves as recreational area that has children´s playground, it also has sport equipments for the young and the old. A good jogging area it is surrounded by bigger trees. It is also a good quarter for the birds , which is also one reasons why many birds choose this as their winter home because the water in the ponds does not freeze completely due to the warm water coming from the Danube river transported via the Hubertus Dam that is nearby.
An absolutely peaceful park enjoyed by both the humans and birds! A must when you visit Vienna!

Gentle reflections from Vienna, so glad to hear feeding the birds bread has been stopped (not good for them).
By the look of it this is Spring with flowers blooming some trees still dressing for summer.
Oh my, I thought I have erroneously deleted this entry. Yes this was taken in Spring last year when pandemic was spreading across Europe. Spring is a lovely season as all the flowers and trees start to bloom. Thank you for your lovely comment.Hello @joanstewart!
