Night reflections of Venice
It's amazing how a city can look so different at night compared to how you can admire it during the day, and although Venice is a beautiful city at all times that is worth the "joy" to know in all its facets, I must confess that I loved to know it at night and participate this week in the proposal of @olgavita in the Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 179.
During the day I was able to take a ride on one of the gondolas set up for tourists at the pier, but in the evening I took the vaporetto, which is kind of like a water bus hahaha, it's the transportation most people who work in Venice use to get to the train station.
Although I had already seen most of the buildings and places during the day, I could appreciate a different side at night. It is a very busy and active city at night, most of the restaurants were full of people, many people were walking around exploring the city, I would even dare to say that there were more than in the morning, maybe the sun and the temperature that day made many people prefer to go out at night.
On the tour we saw interesting stores of masks and murano handicrafts, it is very common there, as well as the ice cream shops on every corner, known there as "gelateria".
I also noticed that there were many signs warning tourists about "pickpockets", the truth is that I did not feel at any time intimidated or at risk, even at night when the cobblestone streets began to look darker and the scenery could lend itself to any assault.
As for the reflections, you can see in these images the flashes of colors that were projected on the water and created that beautiful reflection effect. I wanted to stay admiring all that beauty but I had to continue my trip to San Benedetto, so I took the opportunity to take these pictures from the vaporetto on my way to the train that would take me to my next travel adventure, which I will be sharing with you soon.

Before I say goodbye I leave you a picture of a giant pizza and I would like you to tell me if you can see my reflection in it 😊.

Beautiful reflections and photographs. I understand that as tourists you have to be careful with pickpockets and not be afraid at the same time. The reflections of lights on the water are magnificent! I congratulate you, thanks for sharing !
