Hi, this is my first entry for Reflection Hunters Contest.
I do love reflections, as probably does every photographing being. There are so much meanning to them, as well as the potential to generate the interesting imagery (i think the same about the shadows, so it's great to see that they go together in one community :)
As to the picture.. its nothing fancy, but I kinda like it. Minimalist, of course, with some sense of stability. In the same time it shows how elusive is the border between the matter and the play of light on the surface of water. On top of that, this, what we are looking at now is only the picture of all this situation projected by the light shining from the screen ;) there is some more philosophy to that, but lets stop here ;D
I used to rotate 180, or flip this kinds of pictures back in the days, which creates really surrealistic effect, but now I do it rarely, mostly for demonstrative puropses around the theme of (stances of) perception vs (stances of) interpretation.
The picture was taken in Nov. 2013 on the quay of Odra River in Wrocław, Poland.
Be well, everbody 🖐
Good luck in the contest!
