I went out for morning breakfast and a walk the other day a few train stations away to Seiseki-Sakuragaoka. I chose that station because it has one of my favorite pastry shops, Le Repas. The Le Repas at my station closed last year so this is now the nearest one.
After enjoying my coffee and pastries, I took a walk along the Tamagawa river.
It was a beautiful, cold morning with crisp, blue skies.
As I walked around I remembered these two new towers were just finished very recently. So I went over to see what they were like, then I came across this shadow.
This is my entry.
This interesting structure or sculpture was set in between the two towers.
The tree cast a nice shadow on it. The light breeze made the shadow dance on the screen which made me think the tree and sculpture were placed there in part for this visual. It was a great, simple effect that added to the surround grassy area to sit on, or have a picnic, etc. I just hope it doesn't rust out or the tree grows beyond the screen effect. I'll report back in a few years to see how it's holding up
Until then, thanks for reading!
