Rings and Reflection (Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest Round-34)

in Shadow Hunters3 years ago

It's quite late at night and I'm curious to test my new macro lens (for smartphone) that just arrived yesterday. I can't wait for tomorrow, so I do it anyway at this hour. I'd like to do some experiments with rings and reflections.

I've seen some videos about macro photos ideas that you can do indoors. I want to explore macro photos with objects around the house, not necessarily macro photos of insects or flowers. So now I want to try one or more of those ideas.

This time, I made macro photos with colorful backgrounds and colors reflection on the objects.

Here's the BTS (Behind The Scene). For the glass surface, I used a cellphone. And for the colorful reflection, I used a colorful background displayed on the monitor, and adjusted the angle of the lid so it can reflected the image to the glass surface.

Still so much to learn and continual experiment. But I think it's enough for now. Will do more experiments tomorrow or/and the next days.

Wow. I love the idea behind this shot, I couldn't imagine what made it look like that at first instance not until I moved down and saw it

Thanks!

Gratulations, great shots! Very creative idea for producing that cool, appealing effect. Possibilities of the macro imagery are huge, this is the pretty unexplored land. I'm looking forward to see your next experiments :) Keep it up 👍

Thank you for your supporting words. I was inspired by other photographers as well. Thanks to them too. Yeah, can't wait to do some other experiments 😄
