Schooling is one important aspect of our lives. We grow up to discover that in this dispensation, going to school is one of the vital things we must do. In the days of our primitive fathers, education might not have meant anything to them.
Our forefathers (especially in the African setting) did not value education. They were busy and industrious but not educationally. Farming and hunting was their major occupation.
In this generation, we have been enlightened. So, we value education very much.
As children, the first thing we are made to pursue in the course of our development is education. Our parents send us to school to learn how to read and write. Beyond reading and writing, we learn how to manage the resources available to us. We learn how to be productive. We learn how to communicate. We learn how to conduct ourselves in behavior and work ethics. Education is good.
Going out this afternoon I met several sets of students returning from school. Their school uniforms distinguish them. It is a culture that students wear uniforms.when going to school. The uniform helps in distinguishing them from others in the public.
