It's that time of the year again. The when the groaning of men who have been made to ignore their daily meals for sometimes because of religious practices. We all know about fasting. This is its season. All the major religions in my country are in it presently. So the worry of food scarcity is not the problem anymore. Maybe we should say that the government should think of what to do if there is actually food quantity inflation. 😀 Never mind me.
Some churches have been on fasting before this time. I know that the Redeemed Christian Church Of God started a journey of s 100 days fasting since January 11. They are still on now till April 20.
While hearing a discussion yesterday, I heard that there is a church who had been on 135 days fasting. Now, that is real sacrifice. Wow!
The Muslim started their own fasting a few days ago. We hope they will use the whole of this month of March for their fasting.
Well, fasting is good. It strengthens our belief and faith. Medically too, it helps our body system. If you are fasting, please do it properly.
This is my entry for the Shadows Hunters SMASh Contest Round 363.
I have done cleansing fasts before with no food for a week, only juice and water. A month is a big commitment.
